Unilateral Mx and ruptured appendix within 2 weeks of each other

My sugery was planned for March 1, but suprisingly, my appendix ruptured and I had major surgery last weekend. I'm recovering on tons of antibiotics, soft food and rest. I tried to get an answer about my mx from the surgeon but cannot. Does anyone have a clue as to how long one waits til the body recovers from a previous surgery? I know lumpectomies are done and recised, but there's not a lot of infection going on.

My DCIS finally, after 17 yrs. turned invasive, small but invasive. Just removing the one breast and opting out of reconstruction.

    rianne2580, I don't have any words of wisdom but did want to let you know that my heart goes out to you for all you are going through right now.  I hope that you recover quickly from your appendix surgery and are ready to move on to the next one soon.

    You poor thing - I have no wisdom to impart but wanted you to know I hurt for you - please take care of yourself and get some rest (and chocolate?) - hope you hear from your surgeon soon.
