Radiation and ADH

Does anyone know if radiation kills ADH cells like they kill cancer cells. I did ask my RO about what radiaiton does to calcifications and he said nothing. So even after radiation I know I still have a chance of the calcification turning into something else even though I know that % is very small. I also have a history of ADH but failed to ask him about it. Would like to know what others have to say. My RO will be calling me on Monday with some results on my Dad so I will have this conversation with him at time but curious what any of you know.

Well I have the answer in case anyone else out there needs it. Radiation does not kill ADH cells. So even though I have been through radiation it only took care of any excisting cancer cells and any ADH cells that I may still have, I still have and have that chance of them turning into a new cancer. Not the news I wanted to hear.

I didn't know the answer - interesting. I was diagnoised with ALH last year - the oncologist recommended taking Tamoxifen.

I asked my RO this question, too, and she shrugged her shoulders and said "probably."

I asked my ONC this question and he concurred that it doesn't do anything to the ADH, but the tamox should help.. Due to this answer, I may skip rads and have PBMX instead... thoughts?
