Brevail + Flaxseed
I'm planning to start on Brevail that was suggested by me Thermografy clinic. I have calcification and a vessel does look warm than normal . Also my estrogen level come above normal on this test. I've been taking flax-seed ( 2 tablespoon)on my breakfast shake for about 2 years. Am i over dosing my body with all this flax-seed plus the brevail? Any side effects from this supplement?Do i have to take it forever? Sorry to post again about brevail could not find anything here about. Thanks!

I've been taking 2 TBS of Flax oil daily as a remedy for Cancer! It Works! Also try juicing fresh vegetables daily and eating a vegan diet. It helps!

MommySpring, You're saying the flax oil works to cure cancer? Really? Have you cured your cancer? Have you ruled out all other reasons for your success? Please tell us more. I've read several people's personal stories on these boards where they had progressions of mets despite doing the full Budwig protocol. I hate to burst your bubble, but if only it were that simple we'd all be on flax oil.
Socass, raised estrogen levels are bad for hormone dependant cancers which is about 70 to 80% of BC as far as I remember. It's a bit more complex than that but why take a chance? Try reading Dr Servan Schreiber's book which has a thread going on this alternative part of the forum. And look for any threads on flax seeds, flax oil and Budwig protocol to get all points of view.

I have to agrre with Sheila. I'm taking flax seed for about 3 years now but i don't think that's enough. It has to been o whole aproach of eating healthy, excersise and beep a positive atittude. Mind, body and soul has to be involved in order to be healthy!

I'm with Sheila as well, only insofar as every time we post we have a responsibility to desperate patients, like myself, who come here in search of answers. It's amazing what one post could do to someone so strung out on cancer. I know I was.
New study posted today on this board about how estrogen may be a protective against cancer, and may explain why estrogen-receptor cancers are actually less aggressive. Sadly, they really, really don't have this figured out, and as my oncologist says, she doubts it'll be in her lifetime. So, eat well, cut down on sugar and stimulants, and exercise. This is good advice for all disease. Keep your mind at peace, and we will all do the best we can. I work with a naturopath, it's wonderful. But there is a ton of research both for an against naturopathy. For instance, it is thought anti-oxidants may actually encourage bad, as well as good cellular growth.
And as I always report: as a long time vegetarian yoga head, it didn't keep me from getting cancer. We live in a toxic world, and sadly, we really don't have much control over that.

high levels of estrogen being bad for estrogen ++ BC is a bit of a blanket statement, the issue is being estrogen dominant, meaning one has low levels of progesterone, not enough to counter the effects of high estrogen. I don;t think its healthy to have low levels of estrogen its not good for a multitude of reasons. Also, another thing to consider is the way in which your estrogen is metabolized, i.e. 2 hydroxy-estrone pathways or 16 hydroxy-estrone pathways, you need to aim for having the estrogen metabolized into the 2 hydroxy-estrone pathway which is safe, the 16 hydroxy-estrone pathway is the toxic pathway, so a healthy 2:16 ratio is key. DIM and Calcium D Glucarate seem to metabolize estrogen, more specifically estradiol, into the safe pathway, as evidenced by my blood work, which managed to do a complete 180 within 6 months of using these supplements. My point here is to stress that estrogen is not the enemy, its unopposed estrogen.
