So sorry to hear this news. Lisa was awesome. That's two of our cruise
Members who've gone on before us. We remember you, jacquie n lisa. -
Hi everyone,
It is with such a heavy heart we're all here right now. I've been following Lisa for awhile and have had some delightful messages from her - so very saddened by her loss. She was so positive and supportive during our chemo tx and, girls, I feel so very sad that we've lost someone in our little group. My prayers go to all of you in this special group and trust that you're all doing well. I continue to thank the Lord for all the blessing of continued good health. And I thank Him too for Lisa's friendship.
Many blessing to all,
Christine

this is so sad, I will truly miss her. I know I am not here much and I really should keep more in touch. I am so greatful to see you others are doing well. Fighting tears.
I am not sure if you remember that I have a scrapbooking company and I created a line that gave back to this web site. I also created some papers and named one of them after Jacquie, It was actually our best selling paper. I miss her too.
Just an fyi about me I am having a bilateral tram flap on the 23rd of this month. They found another mass in the other breast so I am taking them both off.
god bless and saying prayers for you all!
-
I just realized I was diagnosed the exact same day, same year as Lisa.
hugs to all

So good to hear from all of you.
Melissa, I'm sorry to hear you're going under the knife. Was the lastest mass benign? I'll be praying that all goes well and you heal quickly.
Love to all,
Miss S

Miss S
i am two weeks out and the dr says I am one of his fastest healers. Just one prob with the drains, but I was out to lunch and shopping yesterday. I do not have the results of the biopsy yet I will find out on the 21st. I hate that I have to wait for a month for the results!

it was cancer but they got it all and I should have no worries about it anymore. At least in the breast lol
hope all are doing well
god bless

Hey there, Ladies!
I had my lumpectomy on December 21, 2006 and it was when I was waiting for path results that I found this wonderful site. I will forever treasure the encouragement and love I felt during our chemo journey. It is hard to believe that it has been five years, but I'm so thankful to the Lord for continued good health.
Wishing you all blessings of good health and God's love,
Christine

Ditto, Christine. I love you guys!

Yesterday was the five year anniversary of my surgery to rid myself of this dreaded beast...and I'm still here!!!!! ...and doing well....thank God!!!! I think and pray for all of you often...you were all God's blessing to me during a very difficult time and you are forever on my mind and heart. Thank you.
May we each find happiness in each day and take time to smell the roses. And as Christine said "Wishing you all blessings of good health and God's love,"
Nancy

Greetings, Cruisers, especially those who posted in 2012 -- MissS, Nancy, Christine --
I hope you all are staying healthy. Aside from one skin cancer and some pre-cancerous lesions in my radiation area, I've been healthy. My husband has retired, but I'm hanging on for another couple of years. Our grandkids -- a boy, almost 4, and a girl, almost 2 -- are the loves of my life. Five and a half years ago, I couldn't have imagined that joy was waiting for me.
All of you, the friends we've lost and all those sisters at different stages of the journey are always in my thoughts and heart.

So nice to hear from you, Max! I have 2 grandkids, as well! Two boys, one six and one two. I get to babysit the 2yo weekly, but the older one is far away in California.
I'm doing well..... so happy to be here to enjoy life. My Mom died from Alzheimer's Disease last Wednesday after a 19 year battle. She was a fighter. I'm really missing her.
I would love to hear from all of you...... you all have a special place in my heart and always will.
Love,
MissShapen (Angela)

What a delight to come here and see some of you!!! Great to hear that you are doing well. MissShapen, my deepest sympathies in the death of your Mom (I think this is the first time that I knew your name was Angela (love the name...named my daughter Angela) Grandkids are the greatest...I so enjoy mine. I have a plaque hanging in our breakfast nook that states "Grandkids are God's reward for not killing you kids".
All is well here.
Hugs and prayers....you all are such an important treasure to me.
