What's good for a scar?

My breast scar is at the top of my breast and it is pretty red.  My son is getting married in May and my dress is sweetheart cut and the scar shows.  Not trying to be vain, but I was wondering if anyone found a product that would lessen the appearance of the scar.  I hate to put make up on it and have it rub all over my gown.

    Aquaphor.  It's what they recommend when you are healing from a tattoo.

    Or vitamin E capsules.  Punch a hole in one and squeeze the oil and massage the scar.  Mostly, it's the massage that helps rid you of the scar.

    sflow:  Scars are very individualistic.  Scar on my left side is gone. Scar on the sternum to areola on my right side is gone.  Scar from my right areola to my under arm is still pretty much purple.  Did the same to all.  Think it has to do with skin depth and pull on tissue.
