pH - any success in making more alkaline?

Options

I've been trying to make my body more allakine, I bought alkaline water, been eating lots of citrus (which metabolizes to alkaline), lots of fresh fruit and veggies. Well today I bought pH test strips and tested my whole family.  My husband and oldeast son, who eat rather poorly, hate most fruits and vegetables, were super alkaline, 7.5! Myself and youngest son, who loves eating his fruits and veggies, were less alkaline, about 6.7.

I don't get it - what gives?

Magnesium will make you less alkaline. When I take my magnesium 1 pill am, 1 pill pm, I get a completely "in the middle" reading... sometimes bordering on too alklaline!

I'm in Canada and found a dietary supplement that utilizes your own pancreatic enzymes.  It is really working for me and food sensitivities. ( I hope I don't tout anyone here).  I work nites so my system is off but these realy help and up the alkalinity.  It's by Arthur Andrews medical, and called

Devacor ADS.  Here in Canada its 62 bucks a bottle. I find it at Rexall Pharmacy stores.  I am way better with it and I take it at meals and when my stomach sours. All the pharmicist said, was, that you don't take it like an antibiotic, so skipping won't hurt but when you eat something you know you shoudn't have; take it with it. I really like it. Bloating and discomfort is down and excretion is more regular - in fact, possible.   It says no to anti-coagulant drugs though on the bottle. And if I am trying to indulge in what I shouldn't (pizza dough,ei) I sneeze. At first I ignored the directions for one at meal time and if I had a steak, I would take 2.  It's pretty much natural stuff.  If I eat irregular, I still take one.  Get'er don.

    Hi

I am most of the time on the unhealthy acidic side, but i've found something that sends me right to the 7.5 is a French dish called "garlic potatoes".  just patatoes cooked slowly for an hour in a bit of olive oil with heaps of garlic, salt and pepper. As a side dish, i have sawcroute. But i can't eat it everyday !!!

    Bon Appetit :)
