That is the trailer park, some of the trailers are old.
My Dad was admitted into Nashoba Valley Medical Ctr yesterday because his heart rate was in the low 40's. They kept him over night in ICU to monitor him, he may go home tomorrow. His dementia is progressing sad to say.
-
(((Deb))) Deep breaths.
-
Thanks Meece, they think it is just a matter of adjusting his meds. The ICU nurses found it funny when they gave him his supper last night that he took the tea bag, tore it open, put it in the water then drank it. DUH girls, he has dementia and when he is not feeling well he gets really confused.
-
(((((Deb)))) Hope his levels increase today.

I bought fresh okra and they were nice and skinny.
I want cook them differently than i usually do.
Any ideas beside frying.
-
How about Indian Spiced Okra:
Ingredients
- 3/4 teaspoon brown mustard seeds
- 1 tablespoon canola oil
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped serrano chile
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/4 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 pound small to medium okra pods, trimmed
Preparation
1. Cook mustard seeds in a large heavy skillet over medium-high heat for 30 seconds or until toasted and fragrant. Add canola oil and remaining ingredients; cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally. Cover, reduce heat to low, and cook 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Uncover and increase heat to high; cook an additional 2 minutes or until okra is lightly browned.
I like this one because the okra doesn't get slimy.
-
fry it!
-
Don't like okra, blah!
or lima beans.
Bought Broccoli and Cauliflower and GF at Shaw's. They are more expensive the MB.
-
Mmmm Okra. I had several plants last summer, and plann on planting more this year. I harvested seed that I will start in the greenhouse soon. After we return from paradise.
-
When are you going to paradise and can I come?
-
In 17 hours and 45 minutes. We may have to pay an extra $25 for another bag if you come along, Linda.
The weather is supposed to be 68 to 80. I can take 68 in the evening, no problem!!!!
-
Sounds wonderful!! Have fun, relax and enjoy! We will miss you!

I still have a couple islands I haven't been to yet, Molokai and Lanai (and the lesser islands Kahoolawe and Niihau). Each island has something that makes it special.
