Finally

As most of you are aware, my family has had two rough years. First with me being d/x in January 09, my MIL being d/x with bowel cancer in January '10, my DB being d/x with gastric lymphoma in August'10 and my MIL passing away in December'10.

I received the great news that my scans were clean on the 10th of January. My DB called me this past Friday and he also received word that his scans are clean also. We are both NED. My parents are so happy! We got this great news of my DB on my mothers birthday. What a present that was for her. Finally some good news!

We celebrated Friday night. He doens't live near me (he lives in Alberta), so we had a few drinks on Skype. We were both half sloushed by the time we were done.

*Sigh* We can breathe a sigh of relief, hopefully forever.

It's hard to put into words the feelings that this diagnosis brings to a person, to a family. You have all dealt with so much hurt these last years. I'm glad to read your good news. All the best, G.
