First year cancerversary
Wow! One year ago today I was in the waiting room for my first Mammogram... totally clueless that it was a bad thing when they kept calling me back to take another look. My life changed that day, partly for the worse and partly for the better. I have survived one year and am grateful for that.
This forum has been one of the things that has helped me through this strange and growing year -- thank you so much, sisters, though I have never met any of you in person, you have given me hope and inspiration!

Thank you everybody, I am overwhelmed by all the well wishes (in a good way!) i don't know how I would have gotten through this past year without the loving support I have found on this forum...
I went out last night with a group of friends for a wonderful Korean dinner in the city, followed by karaoke! To me, it is so important to turn this day into a positive memory and boy did we whoop it up -- who does NED work for! Lol!
