Prof. Ghoneum, is aware of the YEAST post, the main goal of my post is the same for every human beings goal... which is to find the best way to defeat this disease. Prof. Ghoneum discovered this phenomena and did his home work very well... to present it to all parties.. private sectors and official sectors. We need to get benefit from his findings... the YEAST showed astonishing results at the white mouse level... and showed extreme decrease in the tumor size, whether metastatic cancer or primary cancers.

Otter, you mentioned in your last post that ( the kill-rate of the tumor cells is not high enough to offer reasonable efficacy in vivo ), Prof. Ghoneum commented to me as follows :

with baker's yeast (s. cerevisiae) killed 93% of human breast cancer

intratumorally with baker's yeast and the tumor volume was 67% less than
control groups.

However, I would agree with the commenter that further study in animal models and clinical trials
needs to be conducted prior to use as any prescribed treatment and that no one should be taking yeast, or injecting yeast, as a current mode of treatment for cancer."

 The research of Prof. Ghoneum about YEAST has been postponed now because of financial support. In fact, It is so strange that people donate millions of dollars for soccer however they do not pay attention to such research...

We, me and Prof. Ghoneum, are not only seeking a way to defeat cancer with low priced medications and non-toxic materials only... We are trying to completely find away to eliminate the use of Radiotherapy, chemotherapy and surgery... because of the huge damage that happens to our body from these traditional treatments.

Hello to all,

impositive, thank you for welcoming me here and I hope we can co-operate together to defeat this hostile disease. Actually, the whole idea of the YEAST therapy is feeding the Cancer cell something that it likes... that poison's it without any side effect to our body or provoking our immune system to attack it and to keep our immune system not destroyed and stable... ( Not like what Chemotherapy or Radiotherapy does ). Prof. Ghoenum found that the YEAST just passes in our blood, and the WBC's just see it as if they are friend forces and does not attack them at all. The only activity that happens, is that Cancer Cells just LOVE to eat this delicious meal... which in only 4 hours, a Calcium store inside the cancer cell opens and the cell death mechanism starts. !

We want to communicate with Prof. Ghoneum and to help in enhancing this work, by interacting with him, asking him, and understanding what might enhance the efficiency of this phenomena and how to convert this to be a true medicine in the near future to save our selves and our children from this hostile disease.

Regarding the fungal theory, I do apologize that I don't know anything about it, and I need some time to read about it, so please give me sometime to read and read and read... and read again to answer you regarding this subject.

Again, I am preparing a post regarding what TRIGGERS Cancer in our body... its Prof. Ghoneum's point of view, which is clearly related to our immune system. I know that maybe a lot of people here may already know what I will be writing here, but, we have to discuss everything with new opinions... and by the way, since you had a recurrence I think the coming post might help in such a way to protect you from the recurrence.

 janeluvsdogs, I couldn't understand your question, or you seems misunderstanding the idea, we are talking about using the YEAST as a replacement to the traditional Chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments... we are not interested to feed the YEAST it self, we are feeding the Cancer Cells the heated yeast to make the Cancer Cell instantiate ( CELL DEATH MECHANISM ).

thenewme, the answer to your question is YES . YEAST Therapy is a research program or discovered phenomena by Prof. Ghoneum that reached only the White Mouse level, and was postponed. Have you ever discussed with your doctor a question: Why do I have a cancer?

OR : Why do I have recurrence, or mets ?!

We all know and read about, that cancer Cells appears nearly from 4 to 6 times in our life cycle ( Maybe more or less +/- depends from one to another )... This lead us to ask : Ok, so they have been appearing and disappearing 4 to 6 times ! This means something has been either controlling them... or even attacking them.. and not giving them enough space to grow more than 4 to 6 times !!!

So, what controlled them ? OR what defeated them... and how ?

I have another question: Have you ever heard about someone who NEVER catch flu in his life ?!

Another question: how much times you catch flu per year! is it 1 ? 2 ? 4 ? 5 ? And, how much time it takes for your body to recover from this flu ..! Of course as we all know, that flu viruses are not treated by anti-biotic, since anti-biotic mainly solve bacterial infections.. Not virus infections... !!

Another question: We hear a lot, that if you are under stress.. then you might get sick... and might have cancer !! WHY ?! !!!!

Its clearly enough, that we have a system in our body called ( immunity system ).  

So, we have a section in our immunity system is weakening.. or not functioning well for any reason that causes us to be exposed for infections by viruses like flu and liver virus and others... !

As all of you know, part of our immunity system is the WBCs, but researches showed that there are around 12 to 15% in our WBC's a special type of White blood Cells, called ( Natural Killer Cells - Or NK-Cells)... these special forces of WBC's are such commandoes who are ready to interfere terrorist intruders.. and they do not take action from our brain to attack... they detect and take the decision to attack any intruder by themselves.. this is why they are called Natural Killer Cells.

Ok, so what is their job exactly?

And why they are functioning or malfunctioning...!!

These Cells in fact, are the 1^st defence line from VIRAL infections.. ( Viruses ) and ( Abnormal activity of the cells of our body who are seen as intruders ).

This is why, doctors mainly say if you have a flu, just leave it will be resolved alone !! And we ask specifically about how much you catch a flu since it can be an indicator on how your NK-Cell efficiency is ...

If you catch flu during the year multiple times.. And, every time you take long time to recover then this might give you somehow an indication on how your nk-cells activity doing.

Prof. Ghoneum, says that these nk-cells detects abnormal cells in our body, meaning that they know that these cells belongs to our body or not by interpreting the DNA of them.. if their DNA have changed then the behaviour have been changed then these cells are not normal cells.. so NK-Cells declare the war on them by getting closer to the cancer cell and attaches to it and opens a hole in the cancer cell wall... and through inside it something similar to ( Grenade ) a hand bomb and then release's it which will lead the Cancr Cell to explode.

Then, our nk-cell fighter seeks another abnormal cell and repeats the same process.

Cancer treatment with the traditional Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy destroy our immunity system. In fact, every dose we take we decrease the level of recovery for the next time, and again, it has NEVER been considered that these are CANCER CURE.

We need to BOOST our immunity system... not to destroy it.

Aside from NIH, have you applied to other research/funding agencies and organizations? Angel investors?  Have you considered hiring professional and/or experienced volunteer fundraisers?

We have tried applying for other funding from agencies such as the DoD, or more specialized grants such as the Mary Kay Ash Grant, but unfortunately the funding opportunities have been very limited.

Daiwa is the pharmaceutical company that makes and/or sells the MGN3 BioBran supplement?  Will that be considered a conflict of interest and/or a narrowly-limited research outcome?

The research that we did has been further confirmed by other scientists.  Many medical doctors in the U.S., Japan, and Vietnam have done basic research on MGN-3/BioBran and clinical studies (including case reports) and published their results in peer-reviewed journals.  For example:

I can't recall having the flu more than maybe 2 or 3 times in my life, and only one of them occurred after having my immune system ravaged by chemo and radiation.  I am/was rarely sick with any other illnesses.  How would this figure into the NK-deficiency model?

NK cells have been defined as the first line of defense against cancer and viral infected cells.  This topic has been extensively researched by scientists all over the globe.  It is not surprising that NK research reached about 2000 articles in 2010.  It seems for me that the frequency of catching flu is an indication of a weakened immune system in general and decreased NK cell activity in particular.  This appears to me to be the general trend, but there can be exceptions.  However, I am not personally aware of cases such as this.

How would Dr. Ghoneum respond to those who say the problem isn't with a defective or inefficient immune system; rather, it's a failure of the immune system to even recognize the cancer?

We can't generalize the idea that the immune system can detect all types of cancer.  It might be that in some cases the cancer is able to escape immune surveillance.

Are there other researchers that you know of who are studying similar veins of cancer treatment and, if so, what distinguishes your research/results from theirs?

Immune therapy for the treatment of cancer has been studied for the past several decades.  Doctors and oncologists who have studied this field have been driven to understand the topics mentioned in our previous comments about the immune system and cancer.  However, the interest of immune therapy slowed down because the agents that have been used to boost the immune system unfortunately have been shown to be toxic and only temporarily effective, agents such as interferon-gamma and interleukin-2.  The difference between my research and others is that my interest in immune modulators, also known as biological response modifiers (BRMs), has been geared towards non-toxic, natural BRMs.  We are lucky to have this product known as MGN-3/BioBran, which is an arabinoxylan from rice bran.  MGN-3/BioBran has the ability to boost the immune system for longer periods of time.

Keep in mind that poor health status that ended with frequent viral infection and/or cancer development is the result of a host of different factors, which mainly include exposure to pollution and stress.  Unfortunately, these two factors confront many people in the 21st century, and we have to be aware about the danger of these two factors and minimize them to a high extent in our life.  Even a high dose of MGN-3/BioBran (such as 3g per day) will not produce the desired effect if the body is under prolonged exposure to stress or chemicals. On the other hand, if the person is living a healthy life-style, one tablet, specifically 500mg, on a daily basis has been shown to enhance NK cell activity.

Prof. Ghoneum is well-known in the Middle East where he has been interviewed frequently by major newspapers and major TV stations.

The main reason that made me contact him and be too close to him was the cancer that my father's had. When I talked about the MGN-3 in my last post, although my father has been taking it very late, my father HAS NO CANCER NOW AT ALL.

My father is SUFFERING THE SIDE EFFECTS OF THE CHEMOTHERAPY AND RADIOTHERAPY.

I read about Prof. Ghoneum, and about MGN-3, and showed the articles that I downloaded from the internet.. he just laughed on me.. and thrown it in the Garbage and said we have a book and a protocol that we need to follow, and please dont risk your fathers life by giving him something we are not adminitring it and aware of its effect on him !!!

I took the decision to give the MGN-3 to my father... since it is entiarly safe product from food, and without to tell his doctor.

This was at the 1st of may 2010, then after the 4th does of chemo, the doctors noticed Significant response to the treatment ! And one of them wanted not to continue to give him the 5th and 6th dose !  Anyway, they said we need to complete the 6 doses as the book says...

They started at the 5th does of chemo , Lung radiation in parallel  !

We finished the ttreatment on October with big news. Cancer in the LUNG Resolved.

Unfortunately, they FORGOT ... and I mean FORGOT letter by letter... to make at least a single  brain CT-Scan or a single Brain MRI .. not a single time during the treatment .. !

After a month, I noticed that my father started to forget some known names... names for people who are close.. and names for famous places... so after I made a simple search on the net I found out that I need to do a brain MRI for him .. And here comes the bad news.

We found a 4x3 cm tumor in his brain surrounded with edema ... I went to the doctor and started long long discussion with him... I found him saying to me ( Oh dear, even if we found it before.. we have no more than 10 radiation doses to the brain as a palliative therapy ! ) I said why you say this, he said since tumors that appears like this wont ever go... the radiation just decrease the symptoms of it and may GOD be with him... !!

I got crazy... ! I asked Prof. Ghoneum ... He advised me to increase the DOSE of BioBran and was sure that it will solve the problem along with radiation since radiation will help in shrinking the tumor size to the level that my fathers NK-Cells can make the turning point... ( CAT and LION ) ! Though, he always was afraid from the side effects of the Brain radiation...

Now......, The 4x3 CM is GONE ! No .. I can say ERASED ?? ! NO NO ... I want to say IT SEEMS THAT IT WAS NOT THERE AT ALL  !.

Doctors DID NOT believe that the tumor gone... and they kept asking me if he is taking any alternative medicine ..! I kept answering No... Since his doctor never gave my question about MGN-3 Any care... when we met him at the 1st time.

He is CLEAN.. No Cancer in LUNG no Cancer in BRAIN ! No Cancer any where else... since his docotor made for him Multiple exams avoiding the same mistake to happen again.. Bone Marrow Biopsy ... is CLEAN!  

Unfortunately, my father now is suffering all time sleepy mode and the extrem fatigue from the Radiation on his brain... some articles on the Internet says it needs for him to recover more than 6 to 7 weeks after the treatment... and now we are at the 4th week.

This is my personal trail on my father with MGN-3 .

By the way, My father from MAY 2010 till this moment, did not catch flu not a single time.

Please find below slides that shows that NK cells without granules and NK cells with granules post-treatment with MGN-3.  The granules are simply considered to be the bullet of the gun.  This is where NK cells attach to the cancer cells and discharge the granules into them that cause cancer cell destruction.  These are real microscopic images.
