mx,te's rads and reconstruction
Hi Ladies, i have been reading alot of all your struggles and victories with Rads. I have not heard alot from women who have had the MX,TE'S,RADS, then reconstruction.... This is what i am facing at this point i have just started Rads with my TE and i want to hear from others that are here too or have been here. I just need some company on this journey that is not as popular as others. These Te's throw a curve ball !

Beacher4209.... I am there with you. I had BMX in April 2010 with TEs, chemo, and finished RADS on November 12. I got all my expansions done prior to RADS as was instructed by my PS. So far I have had absolutely no complications and my PS is confident about my upcoming exchange surgery on March 30th. My PS wanted me to wait 4 months after last RADS to do the surgery. I met with him last week and he thought my skin was left in really good shape after RADS, so I am hoping it goes well. You should do well also if you take especially good care of your skin during RADS.

beacher- I had a bmx, have TEs (partially filled), finished TAC chemo on 1/04, will get a "fill up" this Friday, finish filling next week and then on to rads, whew. You are not alone. Once my fake boobs are full I will start the rads process. So I will join you in Feb. I'm sure others will show up too.
