Another angel - lost to colon cancer

My friend Joanne passed away today from colon cancer.  She was 44 years old, married with 2 young children.  She was diagnosed earlier this year, but was already stage 4 with liver mets.  She was put in hospice care on Saturday, January 15th.  The doctors only gave her 3 days to live, but she lasted longer than they expected.  Cancer takes too many people. 

RIP my dear friend.  Please keep Joanne's family in your prayers.

    Aaawe Kitty, so sorry to  hear about your friends' passing.  My condolences to both you and her family. You are right when you say cancer takes too many young lives.

    Thank you for the kind words.  I was super sad when I heard the news last week, but know she's in heaven and in no pain now.  I feel bad for her hubby and children.  :(

    i lost a warrior/hero today. she fought way harder than i can imagine myself doing... the BEAST kept her at stage 4 and doing 6mos on chemo; 6mos off, for 12 yrs.. i met her in chemo last year. her name was Alice, and about 6 mos ago, her leg bones snapped. from a wheelchair, to bed, on to the hosp with tubes, etc.. i swear, tonight, Alice, your'e free, my friend Fly Well, and Strong.........3jays
