Hi all -- I am having new discomfort in my back around the scapula ("wing bone") on the side of my LE arm.  The discomfort increases when I lean against the back of a chair.  Perhaps related, I must put on my LE sleeve before putting on a shape wear camisole (Control it camisole cut off at the rib cage) or my upper arm (but not my back) starts aching within a minute.   When I stretch, it feels better but it doesn't feel like a pulled muscle.   I don't  think it is LE because I have absolutely no swelling in my back (the indentations of the scapula bone are clearly visible).  However, I am thinking of trying an Under armour shirt.  The options seem to be long sleeve, no sleeve, and cap short sleeve. The long sleeve shirt +  LE sleeve would mean extra compression on the arm (a bad thing?).  The cap short sleeve shirt will leave a small gap between the top of the LE sleeve and the sleeve, and the no sleeve shirt leaves the underarm area exposed and seems similar to shape wear camisole.  Suggestions on which to try? KS, the extra compression from the long sleeve would be a bad thing (leaves your hand without extra compression and could easily push fluid into your hand -- and at any rate it's not gradient compression, which is what you need. You could try the cap sleeve, or ask the company what happens if you cut off a long sleeve to the length you need. If it curls up, that's not a bit helpful, but if it just lies there and doesn't ravel you could cut it to any length you like.

Whatever you do, please do let us know what you discover. It's sure not an uncommon problem and the LE garment makers haven't solved it for us.Frown

    Be well! Binney
