I'm engaged (no idea on date yet, although engagement is going on a year--lots of other priorities right now Smile).  Planning a wedding can be overwhelming for anyone, but add on uncertanties of cancer, body image issues from mastectomy and hair loss, and it gets pretty stressful.  I'd really love if anyone has advice that has planned their wedding while undergoing treatment, but I'll take advice from anyone.  I've definitely given in to the fact that things will not be as perfect as I planned, but I think that happens with everyone.  I'm trying to focus on the fun aspects of the wedding, and thought this would maybe give others a chance to give advice on something fun.

Just to reassure you: the most memorable moments (mostly a good thing), the ones you actually remember, not just the pictures, are the ones where things don't go right.

Keep in mind also, the wedding is the beginning of the Marriage, and the marriage is the whole point.  Afterall, the wedding takes about 10 minutes, the marriage is for life.

Don't know if you saw the Sex and the City movie, lots didn't like it, but I believe they made a great point in the end: it's just you and him.

Been married for 16 years. I totally agree with iodine. At my wedding I my bad acne had returned. I just covered it with make up. Ironically I did solve my acne problem about 6 months after I got married. Never had more than a couple of zits after that.

My point is do your best as mentioned it's just the start. I don't remember the last time we looked at our wedding album. It's all about living and making more memories.
