I'll start w/some background history. I got married in Nov 2005 and conceived in May 2006. In Aug- Sep 2006, I start feeling pain in upper part of my right breast and my doctor advised Vitamin capsules which were effective and everything became normal till Mid 2008 when I started have a pain on the upper side of my right breast and towards my armpit. I could feel a lump. So I went to an gynecologist and she sent me to a Mamo, ultrasound then biospy. It turned out to be a fibroadenoma. My doctor recommended some vitamin E capsules and pyridoxine hydrochloride but leads to no relieve in pain. Finally on recommendation of doctor, I removed the lump through surgery in September 2010 and I had three stitches on my breast. Everything was okay and there was no pain for almost two months but in Nov 2010 pain started all over the breast especially in one of the stitch. This pain usually comes fifteen days before menstruation and disappear during and after cycle.
The pain comes with swelling and is so painful to the touch.
I can't lay on my right side anymore, When the pain started out 3 months ago it was just a little discomfort, nothing really unless and really pushed hard on the nodule and even then it was just at a level of discomfort, not pain. Over the mths is has really progressed into horrible pain that is 24/7. Carrying groceries and even my purse hurts.
I don't know what to think anymore. I'm scared that there might be an underlying breast issue other than this Fibroadenoma. Or might it just be that the Fibroadenoma itself is causing all this pain? Does anyone have suggestions for me? Or what this might be? Thank you so much.
