Thyroid issues and DCIS

Is there a link between thyroid nodules or thyroid problems and DCIS? I'm not reading anything specific, but it seems they may link in some way. Beesie have you researched anything about this?

    rianne, go to the alternative thread. There is a thread called, "Is there a link between Thyroid, iodine, and Breast Cancer"... something like that. It is a huge thread with lots of information. There are a lot of women on that thread who have done extensive research on your questions. They will be able to help you more than I.

    WOW, Barry...thank you. 37 pages. My thyroid blood levels have always been normal, but I have this nodule (cannot feel it) that they want to remove. I saw research saying less than 1% of female nodules are cancerous. Then someone mentioned the "link" between bc and thyroid problems. Lovely how life just gets a little more complicated everyday.
