I hate to bring this up, but if the above post is a quote it should be marked as such. Since I've read the exact same story before, it would certainly be a coincidence if this poster is the author. Why don't you provide us with the link? My apologies if you are a 66 year old Alaskan fisherman.
-
robby - Thanks for sharing! Her accomplishments are admirable.
-
And - why not include the bogus list of Michelle Obama's "servants" which was the rest of the email?
-
And a new poster at that. How transparent!

Ohh someone got her mouth back
-
Was it P.T. Barnum who said,"You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you can't fool all of the people all of the time." ?
-
Getting tuned up again tomorrow.
-
Blue
Good energy and prayers go with you tomorrow. Peace
Rosemary
Edited for clarity.
-
Blue - you're perfectly "in tune"! Thinking about you tomorrow.
-
blue - Best wishes!
PT Barnum - Quite a character! He hung out with alot of freaks. He also is credited with:
"There's a sucker born every minute"...many of my friends who voted for BO, are feeling like suckers.
-
Good luck, Blue!
Re: the gun topic.....just read this. How sad!
"Los Angeles (CNN) -- A 17-year-old boy arrested after a handgun in his backpack accidentally discharged and wounded two other high students Tuesday was able to bring his automatic pistol on campus apparently because the Los Angeles school does only random metal detector checks, police said."
http://www.cnn.com/2011/CRIME/01/18/california.high.school.shooting/index.html
Sigh!
-
Thanks Madalyn

"There's a sucker born every minute"...many of my friends who fail to check out the emails they receive, are feeling like suckers.
-
Deja vu! (Re: the Palin and Obama back and forth........)
Maybe we should just have Obama and Palin do a dance off........
-
Robby - I guess you got them since you've been living up there a long time??? So, she just continued to spread the wealth?
-
floragal: That is some amazing photoshopping!
-
$2,069 plus $1,200? That really is spreading the wealth!
-
JulieH--wish I could take credit for it : ). I got that pic in an e-mail sent to me several years ago. If I'm reading your stats right, it looks like you started chemo today! Hope it went ok and good luck!!!
Love the quote in your sig. line, btw.
-
floralgal, love that pic.
-
Hey Rocky .. I googled that email and came up with the name Dewie Whetsell too! That email has been floating around for a long time. Old news.

Erica: Yes I am barefoot. What else would you expect from someone who eats pig's feet? But I do read and write and actually went to school and lived in a real house. I don't stay in the kitchen much because it's too tiny and my favorite place is working on my computer in the living room. Whatever you are trying to insinuate is so far off course that you need to buy a rowboat and find a way to get back to land.
This is America. We can prefer whichever sex we want for our leaders, doctors, lawyers and helpmates. I prefer "men" because I was raised in a society that actually respected them and looked up to them. I have held leadership positions myself and men enjoyed working with me but then I never take on a position I don't think I am qualified for. That is my problem with SP. She thinks she is qualified for something she isn't. I admire many female leaders but I prefer to have my country run by a male due to interactions with other countries. I don't think that makes me sexist. That makes me "sensible"imo!
BTW, would you respect me more in the morning, if I wore "shoes"? Just wondering.
-
I prefer women doctors. But my male onc is superb. Re. country leaders, I don't care what gender, colour, religion, sexual orientation, etc he/she may be/have. As long as they can lead. Yeah, I'm an idealist.
-
Hey Elizabeth, 4 more days!! I have 3 more days until vacation. WooHoo! Sorry folks. Can't help it. Can't wait!
-
I know!!!! I've been thinking of you on your cruise soon! Yeehaaa!!!!
-
You guys are going to have so much fun! Enjoy your vacations and take lots of pictures!

Thought I'd jump in here. Love baby bok choy, cut in half, topped with a filet of salmon, sprinkled with dill, splash of white wine & a small amount of olive oil, baked in parchment for 20 mins. Yum!
As for Dr, I have a great male family Dr & my new medical onco is a female. Some of the worst gyno's I had were women...

I'm sorry there is no payment big enough to get me to live in Alaska. I know many people who lived there and loved it and more who want to live there but Michigan is cold enough for me and the days are too short in the winter here. Apologies to all who love Alaska.
Do many transgendered men work as fishermen or do they generally give that job up when they have surgery?
-
I'm sure the daisies grow wild there too. It's a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live there.
-
I wonder if there are squirrel haters here. We just had one rule. Some people.
