If you are using Internet Explorer (MS Office) you hit alt-0176.  I use Firefox on my laptop and cannot  make the symbol on FF.  I can, however copy and paste it.  Like this: °

I will go to my other computer and make sure that is the right set of numbers.  One of those things I jsut do automatically and now when I think about it, I am not sure.

Hold down the alt key while using the "ten key" numbers to the right on your keyboard.

Well, just highlight the sign in one of my posts and paste it.  It frustrates me when I am on my laptop, which does have the ten-key, but only FF, and I don't plan on buying Internet Explorer.

My DH has a laptop like a notebook, no 10-key, but my laptop is a full sized screen and has the ten key.  It is really good for keeping up the computer operating skills for work.

Oh!   They are just tooo cute for words!!!   Love the little munchkin who seems a little bored.  Hanging around?!  what a creative mum!  At least she knows where the scamp is!  Now why didn't I think of that when mine were young....sigh!
