Cut an old bath towel lengthwise.  I cut a strip about  49" x 5".   Hold it horizontally behind your back, one end in each hand, and slide it across your back in whatever direction is right for you.  Someone probably thought of this already but in case no one has . . .  . . .  Wink

Sounds good to me!  I've also heard of using a paint roller, since their handles can be on the longer side.

Got one more for you: I read about this in the Burt and White book, and it's a foam roller--I ended up buying one--and my husband is addicted to it (he has chronic back issues due to being a dentist and hunching over, and he stretches on it twice a day.) I was looking at the half roller in our room, and thinking I never remember to use it:

Here's a link to foam rollers--you would lay on it and gently roll toward the side you need the fluid to go. I had a PT tell me just to lay on it, and do stretches.

O wow Kira, I have one of those rollers.  I use it to stretch - never thought about it for encouraging fluid flow - thanx!
