Have you had a recurrence after Herceptin or are you still NED?

    That is just super amazing! You go! Herceptin sure helped me out of a touchy one, did give me a bit of a heart murmur but I hardly notice it unless I am overly tired or want my husband to cook dinner, just kidding, but it does work!

    I had chemo then bmx with immed recon (tissue expanders and alloderm), then rads, then my exchange yesterday.  PS was very happy with how will my foobs did through rads.  Everything held its shape very well.  Alloderm seems to be the trick for us rads girls.  It is a tissue replacement which makes a roomier pocket for the implant, resulting in lower risk of capsular contracture.  bmx was 9/16, rads were Nov 2 - Dec 15.  ymmv, but this seems to have worked out for me.

    Some interesting stories.   I finished herceptin December 2nd.  (Finished chemo March 31st) Tore a rotator cuff and in a routine x-ray, a "spot" was discovered on my humerus.  Waiting for an MRI to find out what it is.  I thought it was near impossible to have a recurrence only seven weeks past herceptin -  maybe it's not? 

    I'm also on tamoxifen.  I can't even imagine it could be mets so soon, but maybe it can?
