Can you have two treatments on same day?

I was suppose to have my last radiation treatment this Friday. Well we have snow and ice which is pretty unusual for South Carolina. They cancelled my radiation treatment today which means I would have to come in next Monday. I can't bear the thought of not being done on Friday. After 10 months of this crap (chemo, two surgeries, and 28 radiation treatments) I have had enough. I had a celebration dinner planned for Friday. I thought I read from some of you that it is possible to have two treatments in the same day. I asked the nurse on the phone today and she said she didn't think so. I want to know if any of you had two treatments in one day. Thanks

This can be done. It almost happened to me with a holiday weekend. I was told my by rad-onc that the sessions could be 6 hours apart. I dont know that its ideal, but I know its done.

Sure - that's how I had my treatments. My high-dose treatment was done in a week.

GeeWhiz is right - just 6 hrs apart.

I can understand that NEED to be done.
