Pregnant and having biopsy for solid lump found in breast!.

Hello everyone, I have just found out that I am pregnant, yay! But unfortunately my doctor has also found a long shaped lump in my left breast. I went for an ultra sound yesterday and they want me to have a biopsy 1st thing tomorrow moring. The ultrasound results said there is a hypoechoic long oval shaped well defined focus (lump) approximately 1.5cm beneath the skin surface measuring 13 x 4 mm. I am very worried as I already have a benign fibroadenoma in my right breast and it looks alot more round in shape compared to this new finding. Anyways just thought I'd see what anyone has to say as i wont get me results back till next Tuesday XXX I am still breastfeeding my 22 month old and I am 30 yrs old :)

 p.s the report does say its a suspected fibroadenoma or other benign breast lesion but only concerns me because of it longish shape. I also had an utra sound done on this breast 8 months ago...so the lump has come up very quickly????

    Just wanted to say that I was recently exchanging emails with a woman who was diagnosed while pregnant. And she got through it all. She has a beautiful 6 year old son now.

    Best of luck with your tests. As they say around here... I hope your test results are of the "boring and B9" kind.

    Hi Stormna!  Hope you got your results back and that it was a benign lesion!  I just wanted to share my expirence in case you might need to talk to someone.  I was diagnased with BC on June, 2010 while 4 month pregnant with my first child.  I had surgery and chemo during pregnancy (I could get the same treatment as if I wasn't pregnant with no harm to the baby!!).  She was born in October 22 and is a healthy, happy baby!  And I am done with chemo also!
