Kerry,
Beautiful post-I could have written something pretty similar. This site and the women I've met here have been a godsend for me.
Love you all!

Kerry, Yes this time of the year 2 years ago I was so aware of the lump under my nipple and couln't wait until Jan 2009 to get in an see my doc. I so remember feeling so upset and scared and then I found BCO and the Stage III Forum and like you seeing the signature diagnosis' was such a boost to me emotionally. You have been always right there supporting and encouraging. Thank you for all of your kind words. Luv U

I guess I was lucky to have a close friend who has been Stage IV for about ten years now, and all is well with her. I have another close friend who is just fine having had bypass surgery. So I was convinced I would be too. Remember that I was sure I was Stage III going into my surgery.
Anyway Kerry, I have been following your journey over the past year and am thrilled at all the wonderful things you are doing. I know what you mean about being really able to celebrate. My greatest gift is being able to go back into the mountains skiing. (And a few things to keep me warm while doing it!)
Here is to a wonderful 2011 for all of us!!!!!!! Happy New Year. - Claire

You wre dx just 2 months before me. I remember when i read your advice many times, what wise and human nature you have been to so many Ladies.
Kerry, I wish you for 2011 only one thing. Greatest health to you and your family.
((((Hugs)))))

Kerry I am also very glad that you found BCO, partly for selfish reasons I must admit.
I was diagnosed about 6 months after you, so when I started googling after my own diagnosis and found BCO, you were already there along with all the other wonderful women on the Stage 3 forum. You were one of those who reached out and offered me support, encouragement and hope as I went through treatment and then got back to living my life afterwards. I am happy to have met you, which probably wouldn't have happened if not for BCO.
May 2011 be everything you would like it to be. ((((Hugs))))

Kerry,it is hard to believe how fast time goes. You have always been so uplifting on these boards. You look great!

Kerry, you've always had such wise words on this site. I am coming up on 2 years on the 7th and I remember finding breastcancer.org and seeing your avatar and thinking, she's the same age and in TO! I felt less alone. I've had a troublesome year and I'm so glad 2010 is over, but I find such inspiration and encouragement from gals like you and Mary and soooo many others.
Thanks for your positive outlook and many posts.
We still have to meet up sometime!
Christine

Kerry I've been off the boards for a couple of weeks (NY for Christmas!) and just seeing this but I want to echo what everyone has so eloquently said! You are wise, comforting and just completely delightful! I don't even 'know' you but I love you :-)

Kerry,
Your diagnosis came about 6 mths. before mine and by the time I found BCO's Stage III board, your feet were firmly planted here.
I could never find adequate words to express my gratitude to you, Sheri, Everyminute, Weesa, Diane50, Apple and many other sisters who were here to offer me a hand up...an informational and emotional lifeline that sometimes kept me from going over the cliff. You are all stellar!
Congrats on 2 years! What a full two years!
