Thanks for the info-sounds promising but its the risk of further lymphedema that is worrying-we need to hang on for long term follow up.

Today even my fingertips are swollen-it seems the more attention I give this arm the worse it gets.

    Best wishes for 2011

    Oh Anna,

What a frustrating thing--at one point, my hand was swelling all the time, and when I wrapped with less pressure and limited some compression, it got better--sometimes "less is more"

Now it's swollen after the fracture, and I'm trying to figure out how to do less, but not succeeding.

    Best wishes for 2011

Thanks Cookie--couldn't do something more "insulting" to my LE than break the hand that has it....

I sure am watching where I put my feet these days.

We deserve a break in 2011--Suzy is put it out there, and we all do.

It is the risk of a lower extremity lymphedema that keeps me from pursuing this... that and the fact that my insurance company is so behind the times... Can't someone just grow some nodes from stem cells in a petri dish and then implant them into the axilla? When are they going to figure that one out?!
