insurance and implants

I had a lumpectomy a couple months ago.. and now i have a dent in my breast. after chemo and rads are done, i am thinking about having some implants put in, now this is in case my genetic testing comes back negative, still waiting on those results. I am wanting to acheive symmetry and try to get my nipple to look straight again. because of where my tumor was, my nipple now points downward and the skin is rippled underneath.

now because this was not a full on mastectomy, do most insurances cover reconstruction for this reason?

any replies would be greatly appreciated! thanks!

Hdangelbaby you would actually get the best answer by calling your insurance and asking. It may depend on your plan.

I know when I 1st went to my BS his support staff took down all my insurance info and let me know how much was covered before my appointment. (This BS was not in network but the coverage was 70%). At the very least they might be able to give you the codes so you can get accurate information.
