Hi Ladies - Just a quick drop in to wish all my Ta Ta sisters a wonderful Christmas and New Year's. We have so much to be thankful for. I have been pre-occupied these days. Mom has been admitted to the hospital and will be there for a while. Now they think her nasty lung infection has progressed to cancer of the lung. She has a collapsed lung (pneumothorax) and pleural effusion and is very weak. It certainly doesn't look good. But my forever optimistic mom is still telling me that we are moving her on February 8 to a lovely independent living facility and that she needs to get out of the hospital so that she can wash her windows to prepare her house for sale. Gotta love her upbeat manner in the face of all this! Actually, I (of course) gotta love everything about her - she is my mom! Love to you all and best wishes for a wonderful time with your families! - Jean
-
Oh Jean, not a wonderful way to spend Christmas, and we wish her aLL THE LUCK IN GETTING BETTER!! My love to you and everyone who makes this board a wonderful place to go--all year.. JUDY
-
Jean, here's hoping that your Mom can get out of that hospital soon and on her way to her new home. As for washing the windows, GOD bless her - she's got spunk! Merry Christmas to you and your family and again, I wish your Mom all the best and hugs........I'll keep you all in my prayers.
