Has anyone on here gotten the pulmonary toxicity side effect?  I have fluid in my lung that has gotten progressively worse.  Saw two dr. the other day.  First one said they would have to treat it.  Main onco said we will check it in 6 months.  Nurse from genetitec called and asked questions, when I told her about the fluid getting progressively worse, she said that I needed to have it checked as pulmonary toxicity is a major concern like the heart issue!  A little frustrated since arriving back to the US only to find that my American onco does NOT communicate!!  Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!

My ejection fraction went from a normal 69% to 50% in one year and I am short of breath and have fluid in my legs and lungs on and off. I've heard this is temporary and now that I am done I should not be having as many issues. Did the doctors mention your ejection fraction from a cardiac echo? Have they put you on lasix or any other diurectic? Have they said that it is reversible? You may need to go to an ED if you get to the point that you cannot breathe.
