((((((((((Meece's DH & Meece))))))))))))
Sheila, I hope you wake up feeling much better - with no more faucet.
I was a good girl tonight and did all the work I had to do so that I can finish up tomorrow.
-
I have a pill box too otherwise I would have no idea what I took.
It's still snowing but tapering off. We got another 4 inches last night. We are supposed to get a huge storm on Sunday. Yes, the snow definitely interfers with the internet and phone here.
Glad rads 2 went well. I hope yours are uneventful.
We could all co-author a book about dysfunctional families!
((((Sandy)))
-
Another 4 inches - how much did you get before that? We got nothin'. Looks like we could get some Sunday into Monday. Would have been nice to have a white Christmas. Maybe next year.
I remember growing up there was always snow on the ground for Christmas. Santa would drive around town on the back of the fire truck waving - and there was snow on the ground and snow to play in with new winter toys.
-
We got about 3 inches a few days ago, then the sun came out and most of it was gone. We will have a white Christmas here! My youngest already built his snow fort for a snow ball fight. He had kids over the other day after school and they had a blast! SO nice to NOT see them playing video games.
-
When chrishtmas is approaching the weather here is too cold but no snow fall. I oftenly got running nose these days as the temperature goes down to 7-8 degree. Sometimes I wonder how people manage during snow fall. My grand daughter pressing hard to go to Tawang in Himalayan Ranges to see snow falls but I droped her idea as she never had been familier with the freezing climate. I dont know I did right or wrong.
-
Whew, we didn't get nearly the rain they predicted yesterday, only about 1/2 inch. They are not expecting more until Sunday to drop another 1/2 inch. We need to dry out!
-
My DS would be so jealous.
Anyone on Tamoxifen have thinning hair? I've been on it about a year and I think my hair is falling out more and more. Also - does anyone know if after the tamox is stopped, whether it will thicken up again or once it's gone, it's gone? At first I couldn't tell if it was thin or just seemed that way because it wasn't coming in curly anymore, but now I think it is thinning. And it's really fine to begin with, so I can't really afford for it to be thin.
-
Chhris, I am on Tamox but do not have thinning hair. About a year ago I did notice I was finding a lot of hair in the shower, but it was temporary. I have ALOT of LONG hair. I hope yours is temporary too.
Raj, your a grandma??? You look way to young to be one! How old is your grand daughter?
Making lobster bisque now. The cooking has begun!
-
I'm on Arimidex, hair is doing fine.
My SIL is recovering well, she is in pain but it is managed by her pressing a button. She has a colostomy bag on her left side. She will have that until May. Hopefully the tube in her nose will come out and she will be home Monday.
-
After 4 years on Femara hair is thinning rapidly.
I wonder when I stop in 3 months hair will get little thick.
Deb..Its not the best news but its good news that SIL is coming home.
chris ...is your new avatar your basement?
Waiting for lobster bisque delivery.

Good Night♥
-
Good Night Sheila! Good night everyone!
Merry Christmas Eve!
-
I hope my hair loss is temporary. I'm glad to hear the Arimidex isn't affecting your hair, Deb. I thought it was common for the AI's to cause hair loss. I hope your hair thickens up in 3 months, Sheila. Keep me posted.
I'm glad your SIL is recovering well. Knowing the colostomy bag is temporary will probably make it easier to deal with.
Man, I am so not ready for Christmas.
That is my basement project. OMG - I am such a colossal loser. I turned a door around to do the last coat on it and saw that I had spaced out last night and didn't turn it around after I did the last section of louvers to wipe the drips on the other side. It had drips on it! I was so close to being done.
So I had to go get some stripper and try to strip the louvers I messed up. Then it got on the other side so I had to strip that - and when I turned the door over, some of the mess got on the sides and made stripped spots on the sides. Do you think I could have thought to tape the sides? No. Now I don't know how it's going to turn out. I was not meant to do this kind of work. Everyone will be so glad when this project is done and I don't talk about it anymore. Thanks for being sweet and listening.
-
Aww, we don't mind listening. We all have our moments and our frustrations.
Went to MIL's today to give her her Christmas gift. BIL was there and for a man going through so much pain, he sure is being nice to me. He is the only one in the family that has. Going shooting in the morning, wish us luck.
-
Best of luck Meece! Hope there aren't any accidents!
Chris, I did that once too, on a much smaller scale. I just had 2 doors to do an was rushing and had all kinds of problems. Very frustrating. Take it easy and it will get done. SOmetimes it helps to walk away from the project for awhile and then returned refreshed.
