Hi Ladies:
My surgery is scheduled for next Monday, but I wondered about getting a second opinion on the whole adjuvant therapy bit. If anyone feels comfortable recommending oncologists in Philly or NYC please post. Specifically I am looking for "experts" or "experienced" oncs with Triple Negative areas of expertise. Just wanting to make sure the whole chemo regimen that I will likely have to start in Feb is the right choice.
Thanks!

    Hey girl,

I did some research because I need the same kind of doc - and have an appt. Jan. 20th with Dr. Angela DeMichele at U of Penn's Rena Rowan center.A co-worker of my brother's is a 30+ year cancer researcher at Fox Chase and she recommended Penn - and DeMichele by name.

You can see the doc's bio here:

I second hoist's recommendation. Dr. Kevin Fox at the University of Pennsylvania Rena Rowan Breast Center. He is very good. I had triple negative and he was my second opinion oncologist.

    Hello Ladies,

I have an appointment with Dr.Kevin Fox at the end of May.  If any of you ladies have been seen by Dr. Fox could you please provide me with some insight. Being triple negative, large tumor and having traveling the blood stream i am searching for oncologist that is pro-active.  Currently two years out, however present oncologist is resigning. Hate starting over with all the appointments and drama but want to make the best decision possible.  If anybody knows the ladies on these boards DO.

    Great Day All,

    Hope
