Amazing Race 17.......
Comments

I have to admit, I fell asleep three-quarters of the way through last Sunday's show.

DH said it was another non-elimination round and I hardly believed him, it's too soon!
Anyone remember where they're off to next week?
sptmm62 hello & welcome fellow Race fan.
-
Hi and welcome, sptmm!! Hopefully, the season will perk up some and we'll have some great conversations!! If, not, we'll just wait 'til next show!!!
I lived on Long Island in a previous life (ex hubby was stationed at a long-closed AFB in Suffolk County). My daughter was born at Riverhead Hospital.
-
I keep forgetting to come over to this thread after the race.......I'll try to remember this Sunday to chime in. I do love Amazing Race.
-
.....yaaawwwwwnnnnnnn!! Sorry to see Michael and Kevin go--but they did mis-read and miss a few vital steps.........was a bit more interesting show------but, thinking that next week,I'm not gonna get in a big tizzy when football goes into OT!!!!
I still like the doctors--Kat----vegetarian-----eating meat and saying, "It tastes like money"......GO, GIRLS!!!!
-
I think my favorites are Nat & Kat and the hosts Brooke and ????. I was sorry to see Kevin and his dad go, but it happens. Oh...I like the father/daughter team to. I do wish there was a little excitement or rivalry.
I love my football, but when it puts the shows an hour behind, it makes for a long night.
-
this season is such a bummer....don't know what is wrong but it obviousy isn't generating much interest/excitement.....
Maybe it is because it usually airs behind schedule due to football.....I know that irritates me!
Guess my 2 fav teams are the doctors and the tattoo folks--
don't know what is missing, but it is bo-ring!
-
Junie...unfortunately, I agree!
-
I love Nat and Kat, as well as the HSN girls. GIRL POWER!

The results are in
SPOILER ALERT
#1 Nat & Kat
#2 Brook & Claire
#3 Jill & Thomas
History was made with the first all-female team to win The Amazing Race!
Next season's sneak peek looks interesting - "Unfinished Business" popular faves (lovable losers) get another shot at a million dollars. I think the tattoo couple may be back...
-
Hoo-ray for Kat and Nat.......glad they won.....and,sorry, but glad the show is over for the season. Saw the previews for next season--may be fun to see some of the old "favorites" back--but, sure hope the show picks up the pace some how--otherwise, I'm gonna have to turn into a football fanatic!!!! Big hugggsssss to all of you--see you next season!!!!
-
So glad Nat & Kat won. I did hear that the HSN girls will not be back for the next season because the dark haired one got married and is pregnant. Good for her.
-
Does anyone know when the net one comes on again? After the Superbowl, I'm guessing...

February 20th (this Sunday and NO football delays!!!!!)
Edited to add: Honestly - I thought there would be no delay - there's golf on right now. There probably will be a delay. Sufferin' Succotash!!!! Whew - they skipped the news - it should be on time.
-
Okay I'm watching it in HD it's "Amazing" but it's making me very homesick as Sydney is my home town and I spent many happy hours on Shelly Beach as a kid, so many teams I've loved in the past don't know who is my favourite.
-
What happened to the cowboys??? Could this be a non-eliminating leg? I can't wait until Sunday to see what happens!!!
-
Where is everyone? So glad the Cowboys stayed and it seemed appropriate that the couple that came in last at the very beginning was the couple that went home. Back to rooting for the cowboys!!!
-
What did everyone think? I was sad to see the dad & son go, but I am relieved - this was too hard for the dad. Not so happy with the cheerleaders - coming across as pretty spoiled and self centered. There is going to be a big bruhaha between the dad and daughter and the basketball players. That dad seems nastier this time around than last time. So cool that the daughter met her fiance on the Amazing race.
