Arimidex v Femara after 5 years?

I've been taking Arimidex for five years and was looking forward to this being my last prescription.  Now I'm learning more about continuing aromatase inhibitor treatment for much longer and that, possibly, Femara is a better choice.  What are you hearing from your oncologist?

    I don't know about continuing after 5 years since I've only started. My Onc. does feel Femara is a better choice for me because it brings the estrogen level lower than the other AL's. At this point he is talking 5 years, but to be honest I wonder what happens after we go off the meds.
