Hi

had my excisional biopsy yesterday--surgeon told h that "lesion" was soft and most likely benign.... I think I am going to go with that....will know for sure after the pathology report.  Next up is to get the mole on my back re-excised.... that is on Thursday...I feel like on big dr.'s appointment this week.

be well

Hi, I think it will be B9...both times when I was dx the doctors told me it looked like cancer.  I think the good ones always know.

Hooray for good news for now.  Like Nancy, my doctor told me up front that it looked like cancer.  I pray the final report says benign!

Yep, benign until proven otherwise.  Sorry you have to deal with all this right now.  G.

thanks all-- I do believe her--Nancy, you are so right-the good ones really know right away..... on the upside, I have had so many mammograms in the past 2 weeks that I KNOW there is nothing in there right now!!! MRI in the spring

Saw my pcp-she says its time for a colonoscopy--boy it just never ends.  I am going to try to do it before the end of the year so I can start 2011 as healthy as possible... sigh.

but, I feel good about all of this and grateful that I was able to get it out quickly.  Go back to work today--- feels good to have my wild and crazy life back.

Good luck with your colonoscopy. I had one in 2002 before BC days when they were trying to figure out why my stomach hurt so bad.  Ended up with a golf ball size stone in my gallbladder.  While we're on the subject.  Why do they need to give us colonoscopies when they are giving us PET scans on our entire body.  Wouldn't it glow like any other cancer does?

    well,

can't get a colonoscopy appt til March-- not going to push-sounds fine to me..... the re-excision of the mole on my back was more painful than the excisional biopsy on my breast... 8 stitches..... ouch.....
