How much more can we take!

Hey Ladies.  

What I didn't add to the post above was that my MIL was d/x with bowel cancer this past January.  She had surgery and did Xeloda.  She was given a scan in May and it showed that the cancer had spread to her lung.  Her oncologist told me that she could have six months, six years, but couldn't give us a time frame as to when it would rear its ugly head and spread again. Because she is so frail (she's 74), they had to take her off the Xeloda because it wasn't working and could not offer her any other option.

Fast forward to 7 months.  My FIL took her to the emergency dept on Tuesday.  The ran some tests, did some scans and found 2 tumors in her stomach and it also had spread to her brain.  The tumors in her stomach are so big that they are actually sticking out.  She didn't say a word to anyone.  The doctor has only given her a few weeks to live.

I just came from visiting her.  She is alert, but her speech is slurred and she is failing fast.  I ask everyone to please keep her in your prayers as she goes through the final stages of her life.  My husband is devastated as the same for my SIL.  I feel so hopeless.  I will be praying for an easy passing, one that is not filled with pain.  Thank you my sistas for keeping her in your prayers.
