Hi Sue Ann, do you take glucosamine and fish oil?  I take these as I also have osteoarthritis in just about every joint as well as being on Femara after changing from Arimidex a month ago.  I find these do help a lot with joint pain.  Good luck!

Sue Ann:  I don't take any meds (like tamoxifin or the femara) but have been experiencing pain.  I went to a rhematologist (because an ana test came back positive) and he thinks I have something called sera-negative arthritis (it is affecting tendons, not joints--it is quite painful either way).  For example, after riding in a car for over 30 min. I would get out sometimes and it felt like all the bones in my feet were just killing me.  Anyway, I have also heard that the drugs can make you have some joint pain so I'd get up with my oncologist and tell them about it.  Maybe they could switch your drugs.  Oh, and the rheumatologist said that cancer can make the ANA come back positive.  Anyone have any ideas on this one or experienced it?  I may post that question because that's a first for me.  Tabby

I am on Arimidex and I have some joint pain since beginning the drug.  My treatment for myself is a nice hot shower in the morning before I do anything else.  The pain is not completely resolved but much better.  A heating pad on my back when I go to bed feels good too.
