Hey Ladies! Just dropping in to say hey and wish you all well. I still miss San Diego, and I think I will always wish I could be there rather than here. Ft. Lauderdale is a very un-comfy city for me.
-
Starfish Lisa...so good to see your shining face!! Thanks for stopping by. How are you doing and how
is your daughter doing? We miss you too
-
Hello- So sorry to hear about the carepages--I was unable to access it. Jeanne---my thoughts and prayers are with you..Fondly,Sylvia

Hi, So Cal Lisa! Things are great. Homeschooling Gabriella because schools here in FL are horrible. Saving up for private HS.
Me - about a year left of grad school - UGH!
Meanwhile, have been doing a health/nutrition blog for BC survivors called Pink Kitchen. Would love to have you ladies visit the blog
I like being able to keep up with all of your goings-on through this thread. Even if I don't always post, I am still here in spirit!

Latecomer to the forum...but I'm in the Mira Mesa area...
-
Ducorps, Welcome...it looks like no lunch for November
Ladies,. any thoughts for December.??
-
Hi girls--Happy Thanksgiving to us all!!
How about Dec lunch?
Sylvia
-
We need to get our San Diego name on the top of the list!! I can't do weekend of Dec. 10-12. Maybe we could try a week day which would be less crowded than weekends in December.
Hope you all enjoyed a peaceful and happy Thanksgiving.
-
How about a weekday between Christmas and New Years
-
Hi Everyone,
Welcome DucorpsToo. I'm a Mira Mesa resident also.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving. Mine was a cold one in New Jersey.
I sit here in New Jersey looking forward to my trip home to San Diego tomorrow evening. I will be so glad to be back in warm weather!!!
I can do a weekday if we can meet somewhere near my work as we've done before.

I can do just about any day. Warm weather? Where is my warm weather. Though this is better than Palo Alto was.
-
HOW ABOUT DEC 28TH, A TUESDAY?
-
Merry Christmas and Happy Hannukah, San Diego Ladies!
I *may* get to San Diego this year on business (Spring - not sure of month yet), so if it coincides with your lunch date, maybe I can come and say 'hi' to all of you
Lisa
-
ok for me
-
I can come all days but the 19th of Dec. So let me know what you all decide.
Love you, Shirlann
-
That works for me. Any chance we can meet near La Jolla?? I will still be in rads.
Susan, is it warm enough for you now? Flew back from chilly San Francisco last night to a VERY WARM San Diego!!
-
jeanne..do you have any suggestions as to a place??
-
I like BJ's across from the Sugar Plum church, Nobel is the off ramp from 5. What do you all think! Hugs, Shirlann
-
or CPK or Miami Grill (UTC) or there's a Greek restaurant in the Costa Verde shopping center (on Nobel) across from UTC.
-
I have a feeling we don't want to go to UTC this month, though of course I have no problem staying in my neighborhood.
Jeanne - where is the rads?
-
Hi Ladies, Lisa's sister asked me to share with this thread also, the following update:
"Lisa has had a couple of serious setbacks recently which have landed her in the hospital. Since Thanksgiving, she has fallen quite a few times and sustained a broken right arm plus multiple compression fractures in her lumbar spine. She does not want to keep her arm cast on, so that is fairly problematic. The normal treatment for the back injury is a five-hour fusion that I did not authorize so they are fitting her with a removable brace. She is expected to be discharged later today but only to a Skilled Nursing Facility. Our options are unfortunately quite limited, but we found a spot at Cottonwood Canyon Healthcare Center, the address is 1391 Madison Ave., El Cajon CA 92021.
Regrettably, Lisa is not able to manage her log-on information to any of her favorite websites."
Please add Lisa to your Christmas Card mailing list as soon as possible.
(((hugs)))

a huge favor - any chance one of you are available to drive me home from a colonoscopy on Jan 4th?
-
Oops, forgot that you were there last month. Anyone else have suggestions where to meet?
It's a long drive, but we could carpool to El Cajon area and visit Lisa at same time???
-
Whatever is best is OK with me..I come from the south so noone to carpool with but that is fine..
Jeanne, do you know if she is up to visitors?
-
According to a text from Ellen a few days ago, she thought Lisa would like visitors. We probably need to call there and make sure that's where she is.
-
so are we having lunch next week? And then going to see Lisa? I get confused easily ...
-
I don't know Susan. I am going to let someone else make the decision, how about you?
-
sorry messed this one up
-
How about our tried and true California Pizza Kitchen at 11:30 am on
December 28th at 11602 Carmel Mountain Road, San Diego 92128,
and then those of us who want to go to El Cajon afterwards could do that...??
-
Ughhh, that's the CPK I could not find last time and neither could my GPS. haha, but I am willing to try again. Is it a west turn from 5? Is it in Solana Beach? I think I went east and should have gone west. My navi was not much help.
Let me know, kiddos, hugs, Shirlann
