What is it with people?  Is it just that it's Pinktober or is it that I have BC and everyone has to react to it in some cheesey way?  I do appreciate it but It does get to be overkill after awhile.  Everything from the "You've been Pinked" emails, "How do you Feel" then the stare at the chest DUH, the pink comments and gifts, and the ER+ girls who want to show me their boob jobs they got for the hell of it,... Have I been designated Breast Cancer girl?  I really felt that way when my daughter wanted to know why I don't wear the Pink Snuggie she got me.

    Yeah, the emails really irritate me.  I just delete them.  I think people don't realize that we think about cancer enough without being reminded with a daily email or comment.  It's not their fault.  They can't possibly know how it affects us if they don't have experience with it.

    I am so mean about it that people no now  not to bring it up to me:) lol...

    Remember Barb- you HAD breast cancer.   You don't HAVE bc as you wrote above.

    I have finally educated the entire population of Podunk, MS....so, no...people do not come up to me and shove their pink patooties in my face.

    And, then, I read the one above me....HA!  :)

    Oh man.  One of my best friends bought me a pink ribbon Longaberger mug.  

    I am plotting against it.  An accidental break might be in order.

    My Mom is adorning herself with pink ribbon crap.  

    I'm normally fairly nauseatingly Pollyanna-ish, but I have no tolerance for the pink ribbon.  I swear, if people give me pink ribbon items for Christmas I think I'm going to have to take ativan to get through it.  :)

    I make smiley emoticons, hahah, but ... seriously.  I can just see being gifted engraved pink ribbon tree ornaments....
