Last night I wore my new lovely Jovi Pak oven glove from hell thing. It wasn't too horribly uncomfortable but when I woke up my fingers were all puffy. I have the Jovi with the built in gauntlet. Has anyone had this issue and what did you do about it? That sucker cost $600 so I want to get use out of it, and can't go and buy another one. Has anyone tried wearing a glove underneath it?

Gfbaker--I didn't find the open fingered glove controlled the swelling in my fingers--it's nice and soft and well sewn, but there's so little support for the fingers. It did help to wear the over-sleeve. I'd suggest you both call your fitter, and call Jovipak.

I switched to a Solaris Tribute with finger spacers. I've always wondered if the regular jovipak sleeve, with a finger wrap underneath, was a better way to control finger swelling.

    Hi, Gfbaker -

I used to have that problem bandaging because I would bandage too tightly. I have learned how to bandage now without making my hand blow up like Mr. Staypuff.  I use the Solaris Tribute now, too, and it works really well.

I would send the jovipak back if you can...you shouldn't be having issues like that, particularly for $600!!!!
