IBC that comes and goes?

HI, me again. :P~ I have been reading many (TOO MANY) sites, posts, here and everywhere that women have been given antibiotics for a "breast infection". My dr did, over the phone,  the same for me. It's been three days, and I do have SOME pinkness left, do have the sensitive breast (warm, nipple itch, some tenderness: not  a whole lot today, fullness, an area lining the egde of the areola that is "thicker" that the resy of the edge). So many have posted that the meds decreased their symptoms, some came back..etc...is that true? Will the meds reduce some of these syptoms, and possibly return as IBC would?? So confused. Just so tired of this garbage. :'(

    I'm sorry I don't have an answer for you really, but I have read that the rash with IBC can come and go. I read that on one website. I'm not sure if that is true or not. I have noticed some websites with info about IBC have info that is almost a decade old, so I think a lot more is now known about it.  I would for sure go back to your doctor and press him/her more.

    I am currently in the process of trying to find out if I have IBC or not. My rash has gotten better, but this did not reassure my doctor, she thinks it's good but it didn't rule out IBC. I am awaiting more tests.
