My son was playing in my closet (what kid does not do that at one time or another, right? Harmless? Usually......).
This summer I had gotten frustrated with having a size 12 body but only size 8 breasts. I bought a padded bra for the first time not only since my surgery in 2006, but for the first time in my LIFE since I used to have DDD breasts.
My black, shiny, very padded bra was dangling from a hook and my son discovered it with glee.
He shrieked, "COOL! AN ARMY HAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and proceeded to attempt to wear it as such.
Poor kid never saw a bra in the house for his entire life (was 15 months old when I was dx'd). What else would he think it was, right?

A few weeks ago I went to my grand nephew's second birthday and his mum had organised a live animal petting show for all to enjoy. They had baby ringtail possums, a tarantula, a sleepy lizard, a bantom hen, a flop eared rabbit and an owl. My mother absolutely loves owls but had in all of her 85yrs, had never seen a live one. I think the oppurtunity to pet one was the hilight of her year.

Chrissy, what a wonderful experience for your Mom. (And for you.)
Hugs

Awhhhh I just LOVE the stories. That's what life is all about.
Here's my youngest........just GOTTA have that last sip of coffee:)

This cute fella was with his dad in a shoe store. His dad was a traveling carpenter, and he went everywhere with him. Looks like he's pretty exhausted from working too hard........LOLOL

Hey Chabba-----that dude does look familiar, but I'm not sure which cousin he is:) I'm not surprised that he didn't give you his name. He's probably up to mischief.
Love the critters drinking their morning coffee. I sure wouldn't want to be the one to take it from them....LOL
I've posted this before----I think-----but it ALWAYS makes me laugh and feel so much better. You need to make sure your speakers are working for this one, and get ready to giggle.

Aw dream, so sorry to hear you are ailing. Here are som gentle (((HUGS)))) for you and a picture of Lucy, 'helping' me work (by lying on my computer power supply). Usually she 'helps' by lying on my keyboard.
