THE 2ND TA TAS SISTERHOOD REUNION IN VEGAS!!
Comments
-
Sandy - We did talk about this in Vegas, so I realized why you were off the boards. I have been through separation and divorce as well. It certainly makes you a stronger person, but the logistics are difficult, time-consuming, and emotionally distressing. Call anytime if you need to chat. We are here for you! Take care of yourself!
-
Sandy, I'm sorry to hear about what you're going through, although I suspected it when you disappeared for awhile. I know this transition time will be tough, but you are one strong lady. Hang in there and know your sistas are thinking of you.
-
I'm so sorry Sandy that you have another situation to deal with. You are sooo strong & I wish we could help you more than just our words, but prayers & (((HUGS))) are with you & here for what ever you need to vent or chat about. LOVE YOU!!!
Take care Chow XOXO Susie

Sandy, so sorry to hear you are going through this. You're a strong lady and you'll get through this just fine. We're here for you and pulling for you - all of us........... Praying that you get through this and that your ex doesn't make this situation any harder than it already is. You're one heck of a lady...YOU GO GIRL!
Love, Your Canadian sister
-
Oh Sandy, I am so sorry you are having to make this move. Wish we could be closer to help you in person, but know your tata sisters are there with you in spirit. Although it was 18 years ago for me I remember well those first few weeks of being on my own with a small boy to care for and keep all those balls juggling. Just remember to breathe. It's okay to cry. Then do something good / fun / relaxing just for you. Major Hugs!!! - Gretch

((((((Sandy)))))
I think most of us have been through a divorce. For me it was a loooooog time ago. Married my high school sweetheart but it was not real love, just an escape from my parents who were into a nasty divorce. We did not have any children and did not own property to have to deal with.
You are such a trooper. So sorry "he" is giving you a hard time. Just hang in there and do what you think is best. The best to you and your new future.
-
(((Sandy))) I have not been through a divorce, but I did have a nasty separation from my 19 year long business partner. That was hard enough. All my love is going out there to you. You were such a support for me when I needed it. Please know that I care!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ladies - I am totally overwhelmed these days. My step father was in the ED twice and hospital once and is now in a long term care facility. My mom was in the ED once and has advanced lung disease that we are not concuring w/ antibiotics. She is very weak and failing more each day. Between the two of them and my husband and family and work, it is all I can deal with. But I love you all! Take care of yourselves! - Jean
-
(((Jean))) so sorry for your troubles... take care and we are here for you!
-
Jean, I am so sorry that you are so overwhelmed, it is so painful to watch your parents or any family member suffer. Take care of Yourself! The EC site you started is such a huge help, a gift you have given us all. We love you!
Sandy, I'm sorry that you're dealing with this now, hope things will temper in time, you have a lot of support here!
Best to everyone! Once a week or so I seem to be telling someone of our great weekend in Vegas!

Sandy dear, I am so sorry. I am also in disbelief, because I just can't understand how any man could be foolish enough to let a wonderful woman like you get away. Well, it's his loss; I hate that you have to go through this. We all love you. (((((Sandy)))))
-
Susie, I haven't posted my pictures yet. I'm trying....eeeeeek!
-
thanks for all the support ladies... I got my pix posted so hope it worked and others can see them
I had a little frustrating night with Rick... he said our house was appraised for about $25,000 less than I thought ( feel like I lost $12,500 ) and when I said we need to come up with a price to see where we are with everything else he was like I thought we did that. Yes my vehicle is worth $4000 more but he kept everything except computer desk and armour. Plus he has golf cart we paid $3000 and rhino which was $5000 plus all new appliances in kitchen, washer drier all other furniture vacuum cleaner which was $1000 not quite sure how we could be even. I had to go out and buy everything. So glad I'm getting away tomorrow night I need to blow some steam off.
-
Mona good vibes coming your way
miss you ladies
-
Wow Sandy he isn't letting you and your child stay in the family home? How can he do that to his own son?
-
At 1st he said he didn't want to stay in the house due to memories but than changed his mind so I had to find a place. Luckly I found a place to rent that's not real expensive. Still has been a lot of work. Good thing Jared's really likes my new place and loves spending time here. But he does spend 50% of his time with his dad also.
-
Ah ok -- well -- I guess I won't have to hate him for that then
-

Jean -- I am so sorry that your step-father and mother are both failing. It is so difficult especially over the holidays. HUGs!
Mona and Joyce -- Best wishes for good results!
EBann -- You know my thoughts are with you! Please feel free to call me for any help you need!
Sandy -- I was forced to move out as well, as my ex would not leave the house. And my daughter was a senior in high school too. So, call me if you need to chat. Our situation is so similar. I'd be glad to help in anyway possible.

OMGOSH!!!! What a eye opening experience today was. I made the changes to my personal & now to let you know all the good news. I was only a stage 1 grade 3 1.9cm I had both DCIS & IDC as he put it(PART OF BOTH??-mine didn't start in the milk ducks,it started in the branches & went out of the nipple, then back & into the ducks, thus exploding the branches) anyways..no Pet scans due to this news is needed for me to tell me I'm Cancer free-he said with all that was done already-I'm good, plus there could be a slight problem of mis-reading a pet scan due to my other infections. But, this is great news considering what I was told 3 years ago & who knows why. My 1st Oncolist is leaving, with a new one taking his place, but after seeing Dr. Menashe from Portland, I'm thinking of keeping him instead. There's alot of confusion on how all the reports were read wrong-but now I think we've got a good grip on things in this aera at least!!
Wishing everyone a wonderful Happy Thanksgiving!!! (((HUGS)))
Thanx for all the support & suggestins in finding out what the heck was going on!!!
Take care Chow XOXO Susie
-
P.S.---Get those great photos downloaded ladies during the holdiay break..LOL LOL Yeah right
anyways....can't wait to see the ones that aren't there yet!! (((HUGS)))
Take care again Chow XOXO Susie
