confused by diagnoses please help

I went for my breast ultrasound today. They couldn't do a mammogram unless something showed up in the ultrasound because insurance won't cover it otherwise. they pretty much told me the ultrasound was a waste of time the first person that done it first told me they didn't see anything then they said they didn't see much then the radiographer came in and redone it after telling me that because I didn't have one tiny spot for them to check that they can't really look for anything and she said that she didn't care what the internet said ultrasounds and mammograms aren't always the best thing to diagnose with (I never mentioned anything my doctor is the one who ordered this test) she also said my breast are too dense to see everything on an ultrasound or a mammogram she mentioned a ct or an mri (i can't remember which) might be better but she didn't say i needed one. after it was over with she said she didn't see any cysts but i wasn't even there for cysts i was there because i had symptoms of ibc. she also said that just because she didn't see anything didn't mean there isn't anything there if the pain gets worse in one specific spot in the next few months or whenever come back and we'll try it again and to remember if they find anything in a few months or so then don't think well that radiologist said there wasn't anything in the ultrasound so i'm fine. Is this at all confusing to anyone else because it sure is to me. Is she saying there is or isn't something wrong? Do I or Do I not need a mri or a ct scan?
