Hey Denver ladies,

Does any one know of a good MD, DO, GYN or someone, in the Denver area who can help me balance all my levels of hormones, thyroid, vitamins and minerals post ER/PR + BC?  I have BCBS insurance that I would need to use.  I really think I need some help in this area and my PCP, current Gyn and Onc seem to think I'm fine just because some of my levels are at the very bottom of normal.

An Endocrinologist would be good too.

    Hi Firni,

I sent you a PM.  My oncologist is actually a DO, and I'll send info. I haven't personally had hormone/thyroid issues, but she's been very open and forthcoming with information and might be worth a try.  Their website specifically lists Anthem BCBS as one of their insurance contracts. I have UHC and have not had any billing or insurance problems at all.

Hi Lucy88, Are you familiar with Cece Huffnagle?   I see you're in California, so I'm wondering if you've been to see her here in Denver, or how it is that you know to recommend her?  I looked her up and it seems that she's not a doctor - she's a CNP, and it appears that she just happens to sell meta-ehealth (aka Metagenics) supplements via her website.  Isn't Metagenics one of the MLM sales  companies that has been investigated multiple times by the FDA and FTC for false advertising and unsupported claims for their products?

    Thanks Ladies.

Lucy, I don't see that Cece takes insurance.  That really is essential for me.
