knee pain

i have hx of needing menicus repair on my right knee which was done 5 yrs ago, two weeks ago i started with a cramping sensation that was on and off behind my left knee and left hamstring area. since friday night it hasworsened in that i walk with a limp and my leg hurts. i am planning on calling my onc or going to urgent care,i dont want to over react but just feel something is not right. any advice welcomed.i did have a dexa scan 3 weeks ago before this started and it was normal.

    hey there Ray!

    By any chance are you on Tamoxifen or an AI? The estrogen deprivation can result in joint pain. I feel it in joints that I have previously injured (knees). If in doubt, get it checked out, but the anti-hormone meds do put us in rapid aging mode, so it might just be another wonderful SE and not anything more...

    yes on tamoxifen, but plan on getting it checked. been on tamoxifen since the begining of august.
