Who has had this wonderful expertience to get more oxygen to the cells? Did it work? After my second treatment, I asked if it was supposed to hurt the affected area and the nurse said yes. So I started crying and told her I a should be fine then because it really hurts.

Sorry, I am sort of having a pity party for one right now.  But I would like to hear how others did with this chamber and if any of the skin was able to be saved.

    Interesting that you are using hyperbaric for your treatment. I worked in a hyperbaric chamber a number of years ago and we had tremendous success with wound healing. The theory behind it is that the amount of oxygen that can get into your cells is exremely high under pressure. I didn't see anyone using it for breast cancer at that time but the people who had wounds that wouldn't heal for months had incredible healing in a few weeks time. At that time they were doing 5 treatments a week for a few weeks. We would go in with them and change their oxygen masks, give them snacks, etc. They also had great results with head injury patients, post stroke treatment, smoke inhalation, burns and a few other things. It does make you tired though.
