I had to have a core biopsy three weeks ago for a "highly suspicious for cancer" lump in my "good" breast.  The results were benign and I will be rechecked in March.

The lump was small and very hard. I found it but it did not show up on diagnostic mammogram. Docs followed with an ultrasound which confirmed it and a complex system of cysts (though I'm post-menopausal) which complicated screenings and the biopsy.

Hope your results will be benign too. I know how hard it is to find yourself undergoing tests and awaiting results all over again! I'll be thinking of you and sending positive energy.

Hi Allison sorry you are having to go through this again. I know how you feel, I am scheduled for a PET scan on Monday . I had a Bilat. with tram flap recon. one year ago and now have a small lump in my right breast which was the cancer-free side to start with. I am very nervous to. Sending hugs and prayers your way and hoping that we both get good news!
