Hey San Diego gals,
October is running out of times..anyone up for lumch??
If so how about a date..
-
yup - I'm up for it. I'm on the plane flying home from Texas, so I don't have my calendar. Except for whatever day it is I'm getting my new crown put in, I can make it.
-
I'm game for any weekend except the one coming up (10/22 - 10/24). Ooops, Guess that leaves the last weekend in Oct. What about Sat, Oct 30th??? Liz - does that work for you? Susan I imagine your dentist does not work on Saturday! LisaSDCA - hope, hope hope you can come! Otherwise, if more ladies are amendable to this coming weekend, I can meet up again in November. Que sera, sera.......
-
Well, fiddle, the 30th is my 57th Wedding Anniversary, so that won't work for me. But get a date anyway that accomodates the most people and I will catch you next time. Hugs to all, Shirlann
-
how about the 31st..??
-
What a ghoulish idea!
xxoo
-
I'm game!
-
Looks like Halloween it is on the 31st
since the Chargers have a home game that day
so we should avoid Interstate 15
how about near UCSD.
BJs or the Deli.at La Jolla Village Square??
-
of course anything I can bike to makes me happy - either place - like them both. Though if you are into football (I'm not) BJs has TVs.
-
Guitar Girl...has the deli changed names??
-
I vote for the Deli. Jeanne
-
still Elijahs.
-
so how does that sound

if you give me an idea of how many, I can make reservations - I usually go more than once a week/
-
I am #1
-
if it's just us we don't need a reservation! Anyone else???
-
Hi sisters, it is our 57th Wedding Anniversary on Saturday and Sunday all my kids come for the football game. Dang it! See you next month.
Hugs, Shirlann
-
I've been swamped at work so haven't been able to steal a few minutes to join in the conversation.
I'll be there.
-
I'm iffy. Having a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day!
-
OH HO, I can come, the game is blacked out! See you at the deli!
Damn it Jeannie, NO FAIR! Hope today is better, dear sister.
Hugs, Shirlann
-
it's too late for a reservation, so we'll cope! I'll try to get there a bit early.
-
glad to hear that Shirl...thanks Susan
Jeanne...my heart is aching for you..
-
The Halloween Lunch Bunch
-
Thamks for the photo Bonnid and thank you Guitar Girl
for getting there early...small group but fun...
Guitar Girl, love your bike...
-
Sorry I missed it. That bakery counter behind the picture looks mighty enticing!
I've set up a carepages site to update friends. www.carepages.com/carepages/jeannedillon (naturally I don't know how to hyperlink this!! - h e l p - Susan!!) You have to sign up at the site and provide a password. It's password protected.
I did get a text this morning from Ellen, Lisa's sister. She was changing Lisa's service from Sprint to At&T - and Lisa was awaiting the new phone. It will also allow text messages. She wasn't sure how Lisa was doing. I guess we have to wait and call after she gets the new phone. The number will be the same.
Hugs to all. No new news.
Edited to add: Liz I love your Halloween (autumnal?) sweater!! Way cool. How did your procedure go? xxoo
-
Jeanne, we sure did miss you, but certainly understand
your challenges of the moment and we reach out to hug you.
My upper endocscopy went well. The GI doc decided my
esophageal varices were still small enough not to band them
and the colonoscopy was fine, just one small hyperplastic polyp.,
which was removed...
Please keep us in the loop...

Hello all--Sorry I have been incognito again but it seems like there still is TOO much going on....checked up on the entrys on the site and hoping to get to the Nov lunch. It was THAT time of yr again--mammo,MRI---so had the mammo 11/3 and all looks good--not sure if I have to do the MRI too. Always a big sigh of relief when you get the results....Hope everyone is doing well...see you soon.
Sylvia

ok Jeanne - let's see if this works http://www.carepages.com/carepages/jeannedillon
good luck getting on the trial
-
Hi dear sisters, well, I never made the lunch, dang it. My kids, kids, I love it, one is 56 and the other is 54! Still, they found out how to get the game on their computers and feed it to the TV. The feed comes from Sweden. Sighhh, so we had the party for the Chargers, at least they won.
Liz, so glad you did well with your tests. Such a relief. Sounds like you are doing good.
I will make the November lunch, the Chargers can't be on that weekend. UnAmerican!
Hugs and kisses, Shirlann
