The last days I read a lot about the alternative treatmants. Googling I have read a lot of diets for cancer treatmant and I cannot understand if anyone in this forum uses such diets. In this page
http://www.cancertutor.com/Other02/AdvCardinal.html Iread that the best clinics for such treatmants ae in Europe and in particular in Germany. Does anyone know anything about these clinics?
I dont know what to do with all this information in the web.

http://www.cancertutor.com/Other02/AdvTreatments.html These are alternative protocols for treating cancer.

Is there anyone who had participated in such alternative programms? Ithink in natural girls post must be a lot of women who go on a protocol diet but I cannot read all these threads.. They are so many. If anyone could answer here I would apreciate it a lot!

Grace did you had any chemo or will? If one wants to participate has to go to the clinics or can do this by home? I am very sceptical aboout all these but tey say they work for some patients...I cannot understand this...
I wish you the best!

Hi Vivo,
No, I have not had Chemo and I am not sure that I will. My dx has become complicated. In your case, I can't say what type of treatment plan they will suggest. I suppose each case is individual so it would be best to speak to them or whomever you choose to have treatment with. For me, until I find something with proven sucess, I am giving serious, serious thought to this program. If you are skeptical, that is fine....just try to find the best path for yourself and hopefully all will be well.
As always,
Grace

I've also read about Issels clinic. Did you know that only do certain things here in the USA and other protocols you will need to go to their clinic in Mexico because of US laws. I do believe this is a good program also..
Germany the biggest CAM hospital is St George. If I had the money this is where I would go. This clinic does chemo if they feel you need it.

Grace,
I phoned them a few years ago to check how they worked. You probably already know this but their US clinic is more limited than the one outside the US. The most powerful techniques are always outside the US. Gradually, the US is incorporating some of the German clinc treatments.
Look into the Springer vaccine, also.
Please keep us updated. Do you speek any German?

Vivo -- I can appreciate the urgency you feel to find a precise summary of the information. It can be overwhelming. I can't offer you this, but I can share an experience.
I've not sought out an alternative medical clinic, but much of what I've read is integrated into the advise I receive from my doctors of conventional medicine here. The foundation of the natural remedy seems to rid the toxins to the extent possible, and replace with the appropriate balance of vitamins and minerals taken through whole foods or supplements to grow healthy cells for your individual needs. For that reason, it serves our best interests to seek and find a knowledgeable system of practitioners who understand that complexity.
It seems a simple matter but in fact our bodies are very complicated organic mechanisms that respond to even the slightest change. We need the help of many minds of wisdom, a collective human database so to speak, to compute it all.
A very dear friend of mine traveled to Germany (BTW a German citizen) for her treatments. She was nothing short of vibrant when she returned and that glow stayed with her for months at a time. My husband took a picture of the two of us after she returned from one of her treatments. We were sitting on a park bench laughing like a couple of school girls. She followed a strict diet...delicious by the way...she contributed her dishes to many dinner invitations. As the disease progressed she returned for treatments more frequently. She lived her life in a forward direction always. Every moment lived was by her choice. She wasn't without doubts but followed her heart. I learned much from her. She was one of my heroines in this life.
Each of us respond differently to treatments because each of us own a different map of genes and chemistry that makes the "one size fits all" impossible. Our psychology it seems is easier to manipulate.
I hope for you the best support and guidance to your best choice.
Best wishes to all as always,
Marilyn

Hi--it is really confusing out there--I just want you to know that you don't have to go to Germany for the best treatment--yes they do a very good job there and kudos to them for being at the forefront of alternative medicine in so many instances. But I stayed here to do mine--I had two small kids when I was diagnosed with breast cancer nine years ago and so didn't want to spend a huge amount of time away from my kids--I suppose I would have had I thought it absolutely necessary but as it turns out I found out about Carnivora (developed in Germany 30 yrs ago) from my naturopath. Here's what happened--I got the diagnosis--thought I'd try the conventional route bec. it must be good, right? if the doctors are recommending it?? So I did the surgery and started chemo. Well. Being the natural health devotee around here, I HATED it. Felt like it was killing me. And then I looked at the percentage points that chemo would add to my cure... see, most people don't get that statistic because the doctors don't give it out bec. it's always so low. Mine was an additional 8%. I mean that's laughable when you think how much it damages you. So after a few injections of the chemo, I stopped it and asked my naturopath for advice. And I went to my naturopathic doctor and asked for advice. And she put my on a natural protocol--the same one she had done when she had breast cancer (she revealed that to me then)--and it included something called Carnivora--she had been trained in Germany and studied with the doctor that had developed it--Helmut Keller. She had seen it cure Stage 4 cancers. So because I had worked with this naturopath for awhile before that and trusted her-- I decided I would do that. And believe me that wasn't a popular decision amongst the people in my family. My sister was really mad at me--said "think of your children!" and to me, I was. I felt like the chemo was killing me--maybe it would kill a few cancer cells--but I knew it was killing my immune system--and I felt like I was going to end up a shell of a person. I'm nine years over this whole saga and am doing absolutely great. Of course, I really take care of myself, but I also really believe that Carnivora had everything to do with me being fine. I still take it occasionally when I feel like I've been under a lot of stress and can use a health boost. (It works as a preventative too.) So I'm not gonna tell you what to do--because you have to decide for yourself--but know that there are lots of people out there that have used other methods--and I can't vouch for anything but Carnivora. I know for a fact this stuff works. btw, it's also what President Reagan used for his colon cancer in 1985 (and he was cured). Yule Brenner also used it for lung cancer--he went into remission--then stopped taking it and it came back. If you're interested, go to Carnivora.com. I get it directly from them now.

Hi LADIES,
I know there is a lot of interest in the German way of treating breast cancer. Has anyone checked on the mortality rates in Germany as compared to the US? My guess is that they are probably quite similiar.

I keep hearing and reading about German treatments but I have NOT seen any statistics for survivorship. I do NOT want to get a mastectomy but feel it is the only option truly out there right now. Any breast cancer LONG TERM survivors from German kliniks?
-
Dr Ursula Jacob has a Klnik in Germany. I only know one person who went there 4-5 years ago and she has sprung back and now doing fine. Very expensive but some covered by insurance. I think Dr. Ralph Moss has an updated report on the Kliniks which change staff from time to time. You can email Dr. Jacob directly, I believe.
