xeloda and TN

I was wondering if any one had experience with xeloda for recurrant Triple Negative breast cancer.  I was just diagnosed with several spots in my neck nodes and chest area and this is what my oncologist has prescribed.  Will be starting this week.  I have been away from this board for several years so I have really not heard of this drug.  Looks like I', sadly back.

Any input, I would appreciate.

    Hi AZ - I just got the xeloda prescription today.  Recurrence after 7 years and just went through Abraxane, Avastin and Zomata from MArch to early August.  been on every 3 week cycle of Avastin and Zometa and the markers double in the past 3 weeks so I would love to hear about Xeloda and what it may do!!

    I am so sorry for your recent diagnosis.  I have just recently started the my battle with this disease and have no information on the drug.  I do, however, have a question for you.  When you got your recurrence did you notice any symptoms like swelling or difficulty swallowing.  I've always been a tough cookie but I find myself afraid for the first time. Thanks so much and good luck in your endeavor.

    diagnosed IDC 8/24/10 stage II 2.5 cm grade 3 95% IDC 5% dcis
