LOOKING FOR LADIES UNDER 30 TO HELP RAISE AWARENESS...

I am a journalist working on an article to help raise awareness about breast cancer directed to ladies under 30.

It has come to my attention that there is not much education about breast cancer for ladies under 30 and along with this an attitude ''it wont happen to me, and if it does it wont be till i'm at least 50!''.

I had a screening myself. Although I'm all clear, it did make me realise how little I knew and how much more I needed to learn. With this I learned also that the reason I was so uneducated was because there had never been anything I had come across aimed at some one my age to help me wake up a bit.I want to help provide a wake up call towards younger women. I don't want to set off any alarm bells but I do want young women to realise the importance of checking their breasts regularly and the facts about breast cancer.

Basically, I am looking for a young woman, between the age of 21-30, who has been diagnosed with breast cancer at some point and is willing to share their story in my article.

I understand fully that this can be a very sensitive subject and I really only want to share your story to help other young women become more aware about the facts of breast cancer.
