Weird hot lump ?? Any ideas?

On Friday night I noticed a lump on the edge of my arm pit about 2 inches above my mastectomy scar. By Saturday amthe skin is visibly red above the lump. Today, the lump is really sore, and the redness is more pronounced and the spot is tender. Going to call the doc tomorrow am, but worried now -- any ideas what this might be?

Sounds like an abscess with cellulitis. The "hot" part is what makes me think this.
